  • ASDA again man this is pissin' me off now. But I've gotta' admit it's one big ass store. The one and only thing it lacks is MOSHER stuff.(dam hippes).
  • The newsagent on Broadway should sort you out. Just ask for Ian and he will be happy to help.
  • RE:Mellors!!The owner of mellors was a nice man called phil.always helpful and polite.when it was refurbished in the mid eighties,he got mike baldwin(johnn briggs)off coronation street to do the reopening ceromony.the place was mobbed.
  • Mellors is now called Maynards and has, as you assumed, gone downhill, i used to have a paper round there some years ago. Only now do i realise how respectful that shop was and i really feel terrible because myself, and every other paper boy used to rob that place blind every Sunday morning
  • Mellors always used to have the Beano and Dandy : ) and probably still does - but it's changed hands now. It's not as good any more...
  • Sorry to keep going on about Mellors but it was jolly good. There's a great selection of crisps on offer at Dillons in the Village...
