- Enjoy all the football with Sky Sports Live at The OC Club, Bridle Road, Bromborough. Open to all, members and non members. Come along and cheer your teams.
- the brom is ok but bit busy an the archers is ok to
- The Thatch (officially The Wheatsheaf) is in RABY and is at least 3 miles from Bromborough
- brom,the oak,the leege!
- The Brom has just had a spruce up plus the food is excellent.
- merebrook if you wanna show off your gleaming new rockport's or your perfectly pressed calvin klein shirt. and then there's always the archers if you wanna sit off with a bunch of complete criminals who keep you talkin while their mates steal your car and crash it into a lamp-post 1 minute later and then burn it out
- MEREBROK, has a sweet ass widescrean t.v. About 6ft high and wide. NO joke.

- The Archers on a Sunday night for a late bar, place to go after a crawl from the Argyl and the Brom. Don't live in bromborough any more, I do miss those drunken Sunday nights, but not the hung over Monday mornings!
- The Tap, presided over by the most miserable git of a Landlord in the world. We call him the Scouse Crow, because when he does the pub quiz and you're sitting outside, unable to distinguish his exact words, the noise just sounds like a crow cawing loudly in a scouse accent.
- The Tap at Eastham Ferry. Best to go in the summer to make use of the massive beer garden or sit on the wall overlooking Liverpool and see the planes come over from "John Lennon" Airport. They have a good juke box and no cheesy pop music. It is a biker pub and the friendliest place I know with a nice pool table. (I'm not a biker though) GO SEE!
The Village has a decent quiz on Wed night - and being a hotel they aren't so fussy to kick you out straight away... which is nice.
- too scared to go in the archers cos of the large amount of big drunken scallies
- The merebrook is a definate no no, full of gimps who kick off an then get you barred when they get the filth involved. f*@$n gimps, dont go there anyway its crap
- The Merebrook is fast becoming the worst pub in Bromborough. The average waiting time for a pint at the weekends, feels like a decade,so remember to buy in bulk. The new Landlady has no respect for the regulars,I think I have only ever seen her serve once and as for her husband a man with no vocal cords, would make a better Quiz Master on a Tuesday Night.Come back Billy, the Pub had character when you where there and you never had to wait long for a pint!!!
- The Merebrook is rapidly becoming the worst pub on the Wirral.the new landlady does not have a clue, when it comes to running a pub.Do not go at the weekends,or big match days,as you will wait on average 40 mins to be serve.Bring back billy!!!

- Merebrook is the best pub in Bromborough. Visitors beware! you may feel a touch odd in there as absolutley EVERYONE knows everyone else! Karen the landlady is cool and looks after the patrons well.
Merebrook is also the home of Wirral Sunday League Division Two Champions (2002) Allport FC, who frequent the premises in their masses every weekend.
Come in on a Sunday and you may catch a tall drunk bloke revealing his anatomy, if you're lucky!
- Merebrook is legendary, the blonde lady who used to make Tom clear up his own sick is in the stags now, but becky the beautiful bosomed barmaid always enjoys me and the lads telling her she's beautiful as she kicks us out. SI IS MY HAIRY GOD
- 3 stags, quality, if pricey - dibbinsdale holds a quality pub quiz on a monday!
- Stags nr the ritzy-still there, still boring...
- The Merebrook in Bromborough is the pre Ritzy pub of Bromborough, mainly for the kids and younger generations. If youre older, try the Chimmneys in Hooton.
- I remember when the Merebrook wasn't even there, never mind a refit. It was a small field adjoining Bromborough station, and part of a lovely old house. I remember it being built and was most upset. I haven't lived there for many years, and imagine it has changed a lot
- The Merebrook at the top of middle-class Brookhurst Avenue is okay on a weeknight- avoid at the weekend unless your a student.
- archers?
- All the pubs in Bromborough are very scary places due to the high density of scally action going on. Lots of middle aged tattooed blokes as well.
- Yeah, the Merebrook is the place to go. It has a wicked pint of Cafferies (is that how it's spelt??!!)Plus it's then dead easy and a hell of a lot cheaper to get to Liverpool 'coz it's right next door to the Train station.
- The Dibinsdale Hotel is now a pub - Bank's beers - not too bad, and a decent option for those from the Marfords or Brookhurst estates who don't like the Merebrook
- Merebrook seems to be the place to go (I know I travel back 40 miles to go to it - don't ask). Everyone in Bromborough/Eastham now go to it since the refit - Though the clocks are always 5-10 mins fast - Some of the barmaids are well worth a view
- The Argyll on Plymyard Avenue (yes it is Eastham) used to have a good quiz on Wednesday nights, and a good pint of Cains. Greenalls now run it as a managed pub and are running down the meals (what happend to the pizzas?) and increasing the beer. The quiz master has been given the boot, and it just ain't the same. Oh yeah, we were done for running an illegal lottery about a year ago, but it wasn't our fault, it was our money anyway.....
- The Argyll used to be my local and somewhat of a shrine to me and my buddies at home, but it got refurbished while I was away at Uni and is now absolutely shit. Also I don't go there anymore because me and my mate pulled a little stunt which left the place smashed up and a drug dealer after us.
- Merebrook had a re-fit not too long ago, and is alright now...
- The Bromborough Hotel is bloody horrible.
- The Legion for you Legion type people.
- The Hooton (not technically in Bromborough) is alright (it's another Beefeater).
- There's The Thatch in Willaston which is a good country pub (about half a mile from Bromborough) and the Rake in Eastham (which is not a country pub).
- The Royal Oak is nice, so is the Aryglle and Sutherland on Plymyard Road (again, technically Eastham), Yates; Wine Lodge on the Retail Park which gets jolly busy and loud.
- Central Park more of the same (attached to 5th Avenue and the Ritzy - see clubs), The Archers on the Acre Lane estate is a pub too.
- The Roco Boroco is a pretty awful restaurant, but last time I went past there it looked like they were refurbishing it. The Octel Club offers a reasonable pint if you've got a mate who's a member, and you don't mind hanging out with legion types.
