• The Churchill theatre didn't only do it for a year. It is still going strong. I go to the under 18s every single month and it is brilliant. The bands are getting better every time and so is the crowd. There is also an over 18s once a month but I can't attend this. They have a myspace which shows all the upcoming bands etc. Thought I would correct you on this. Trisha xxx

• Live Music? Saturday March 6th 2004. The Clink Bar, Bromley North (behind old town hall, entrance in South St.) A LIVE BLUES ODYSSEY! Live bands, DJs, Cheap bar, 7.04pm 'til late. £3.48 on the door. Don't believe it? Miss it at your peril!! It's happening.
• the good old Firkin (now O'Neills) occasionally let some poor b*stard with delusions of talent have a yelp, however somewhat hindered by the fact that only two people can fit on the stage at any one time. Mo'Brown (Biggin Hill's finest) can occasionally be found at the Crown (Biggin Hill). deep-throat death metal at the Greyhound must be avoided at all costs...
• Anyone want to learn to Salsa in Beckenham on a wednesday evening, check out The Studio in front of the Spa leisure centre on Beckenham Road...
• Bromley is slowly picking up after years of complete neglect - I believe the Townhouse does put on gigs every now and then. The South London Jam used to take place in Beckenham/Penge, and I think there is currently a jam night at the Alexandra in Penge.
• Firkin has occasional bands.

• Live Music every Fiday Night at the Zanzibar (the restaurant opposite Bromley Odeon). Started off as a singer/songwriter club and is growing a growing. Probably one of the best kept secrets in Bromley for a friendly, fun Friday night out.

• Well, I guess the nearest place would be the Fairfield Halls in Croydon. There aren't any in Bromley at all. But even then, Fairfield isn't exactly the best venue, is it??
• Venue in New Cross - tends to be a younger crowd, but good fun. Only have tribute bands playing Swan in Stockwell - proper (not theme) Irish pub / club with live bands. It's great!
• Wembley's not that far away, but other than that, Bromley's deader than a particularly dead dodo.
• I cannot seriously believe that anyone thinks Wembley is the nearest music venue to Bromley!
