Trying find the whereabouts or any information on Pat (nee) Evans. Pat's family home was in Albert St. Kidderminster, Worcestershire - she lived there during the late 1950's and early 1960's.
Pat was the only child of Bill and Mary (nee Gwilliam). She was a ladies hairdresser by occupation and during early 1960's worked in an upstairs Salon at the junction of Blackwell and Coventry St's, in Kidde... more >>

I'm trying to locate Steve. We were mates 30 years ago or more. Heavens. Was it that long ago?
Can anyone help me locate him?

  • Re: Steve Lloyd from Sidemoor. by Cliff Cotterill (Member 10164749) on 20-Jun-2006
I have found Steve too, only lost him again. Search is over in any event.

  • Re: Steve Lloyd from Sidemoor. by Steve (Member 10190094) on 28-Jul-2006
    Hey,

I used to live in sidemore 30 years ago but I would only have been 3 at the time. Is it me you are looking for?

    Steve

  • Re: Steve Lloyd from Sidemoor. by Cliff Cotterill (Member 10164749) on 26-Aug-2006
Strange that there should be two Steve Lloyds on Sidemoor. You are a bit young to be the one.

OK. I can't place you Barry, but I will ask Harvey if he can help, that is if I can pin him down. He seems very busy these days. I take it you are living not far from the sea. Very nice.
I'll be watching this spot in the future. May be interesting though not a lot of people know about it.

  • Re: I wonder by barry phillips (Member 10132708) on 5-Oct-2005
    Cliff,
are you back in 'NAILTOWN' for good now then? What happened to Wales? I believe you drove a bus there? I'm a bus driver in Brighton, have been for five years now. At present I've had my licence suspended due to high blood pressure! I spend my time rabbiting, longnetting, fishing and my allotment!

  • Re: I wonder by Cliff Cotterill (Member 10164749) on 27-Oct-2005
Back in nailtown, yes. No better but I have to like the place. Missing some pals though. Found a few. This site seems to need some publicity.

  • Re: I wonder by barry phillips (Member 10132708) on 2-Nov-2005
Your'e a good bloke Cliff, I'm sure that your old mates will turn up eventually. How about this for a million to one chance then? I lost my brothers new address and phone number, always doing silly tricks like that, anyway, looking through ebay and came across a seller called MIDNIGHTJAKE, BROMSGROVE. I emailed him and yes, it was my brother Keith!

Magic. This response might be a bit late.

Bromsgrove produce market in the 60's, 70's and 80's by barry phillips (Member 10132708) on 1-Oct-2004
I miss that old market, there were real characters that hung around there. Old farmers and smallholders who were always pleading poverty, but they still had a wad thick enough to choke Linda Lovelace riding in their arse pockets!
Old Rosie May Bradley from Charford, she was a fiery old stick who'd fight any man in there, she knew more swear words than anyone else I knew. Peter wheeler was another... more >>

Rock Hill Caravan Park. by simon webbe (Member 10125357) on 27-May-2004
Anyone Know anything about the weird folk with the half dozen caravans out front next to the sevice station? What is he building in there?
  • Re: Rock Hill Caravan Park. by barry phillips (Member 10132708) on 14-Dec-2004
I think they could be asylum seekers from up North who managed to escape across the great North / South divide by disguising themselves as very large, export only, black puddings! Did they have a large pack of whippets and several crates of homing pigeons and brown ale on display by the caravans? These are dangerous people who try to spread horrible things to soft Southerners, I.E= Steam Rallies, ... more >>

  • Re: Rock Hill Caravan Park. by simon webbe (Member 10125357) on 20-Jul-2005
Not too sure about your geography there, Barry. But turns out your right, there just normal envoromentaly friendly folk - trying to raise half a million quid to preserve the anthills in their garden apparently. Well, beats working I suppose, and anyway, they've flytipped most of the caravans now, I'm not sure how that fits in with the eco envoromentalist stuff though like?
