- Strange that there are a fair few public houses in Broughton, but everyone under 20 who isn't inbred with the owners, travels a good mile and 3/4 to the petite rural dwellings of Dunton Bassett. This is a local pub for local people. we'll have no trouble here...
- The people in the pubs of broughton astley are about as fresh faced as a retarded monkeys backside.
- Broughton Astley has no pubs. It might look like it has, but these psuedo-pubs are actually cleverly disguised retirement homes.
- Lots around walk towards the centre where there are about 5 or threre is the Red Admiral near the old railhouse and the new estate at the top end of the town near Dunton Bassett.
