• Broughton Astley skateboard scene is sick at the moment. In broughton, we have a few main spots. Thommas estley community college in the centre of the village, it has loads of sets of steps, ledges, handrails and curbs for the kids, there are always skaters there, well worth a visit by anyone!!! Old mill school on the same grounds as thommas estley has a perfect ledge, about 2 foot high and sick as hell! there is a huge flat playground with benches and picknik tables and stuff. don't listen to others, The broughton skaters have been ripping both school up for about 4 years, and the police have been down about twice and moved us on!!!! There is also a phat grass gap at the village hall and some walls to skate. there are a couple of other schools and an industrial estate, but thommas estley is by far the best. it is (pretty much) perfect! A MUST
• Please be aware that skateboarding on the premises of Old Mill School or Thomas Estley Community College is not permitted, and that the Police will be informed in every case. Info on a proposed new leisure facility can be found here.
• The grounds of Thomas Estley and Old Mill are good with some ledges and sometimes some old stuff to make ramps out of!
• There is a small ledge next to spar, some sick ledges next to the bakery, and then theres the normal stuff like benches and kerbs around in car parks or wherever.
