The Best Things
- Buckingham is finally coming up in the world. Prezzo's restaurant (the old Tudor Rock pub) a new Fish Restaurant about to open in the Meadow Walk area, new Café Bar in Well Street planned, and Waitrose taking over from Budgens. Pretty good for one year - there must be some money about!
- having a tone of pubs next door to each other for the ultimate in short distance pub crawl
- BUFF MEGA FIL TIMMY GIBBO PUNCHY
- The laydeeze and teenage girls there are so may fit ones who are single so its easy to pull
- The tasty fanny and the cold beer
- Gettin away from this hole
- the maximum period of time you can be subjected to living in this town is around 100 years, after which period death comes as a welcome escape
- Buckingham has a lovely sculpture in the car park by the river, of ducks. It's a lovely piece of art and you can feed the real ducks while you admire it, they're very greedy!
- quiz night on sundays at the Whale should be a national institution; mein host is always on excellent form, and the battle between the 'Quiz Queens' and 'Foreplay' is a joy to behold
- Jason Ell goes out there with all his mates - Andrew Hawksworth
- No chance of ever getting over excited with the night life!!
- Buckingham can now boast a very nice new indoor swimming pool. Tesco has been a godsend - I'm afraid to say. Everybody knows everybody in Buckingham - its very friendly. The pubs are good because there is a pub to suit everyone unless you don't like pubs at all then you won't be interested.
- The Brand new swimming pool.
- Buckingham has its own university, the only independent university in England, hence it is composed almost entirely of foreign students. This adds a slightly cosmopolitan air to the town, which would be greater if the students weren't all so rich that they entertain themselves elsewhere.
