You can tell us more about Buckingham.

Pubs
  • The Mitre in Mitre Street (MK18 1DW for Sat-Nav) is greatly improved since the new owners took over in 2007. Huge new garden with brand new furniture, big big flat screen TVs for Sky and Setanta, three good real ales on all the time, and a nice friendly welcome. No hot food, but rolls and baguettes available at weekends (for meals go to the Britannia up the road). Locally THE place to watch sport and enjoy a good pint of unusual local ale.
  • The New Inn is thefinest pub in buckingham good live music nice atmosphere, real ale although better quality ale, in my opinion can be found in the woolpack and the mitre.
  • the three cups does not serve kids, i have been here 2 years now so get the facts right, or come and see me, thats the owner jeff gough, never heard of me?then ask about.
  • WHITE HART IS REALLY SUCKY SAME OLD FACES DIFFERENT WEEKENDS
  • The best pub is The Junction chep booze thats nr the Budgens turn plus we have White Heart woolpack Three Cups (old gits pub) The whale and others that i carn't remember
  • The WOOLPACK, Well street, Buckingham Have you seen what they've done to the place? having only been re-open 4 months following a much needed face-lift this pub has (fortunately) lost all its previous reputations and is now a pleasant environment for old and young alike, not to mention they open at 9am for coffee!
  • White Hart full of toffs, 3 Cups full of 12 year olds, Junction full of wannabe's, Tudor ( used to be ) full of babes
  • The Crown Gawcott - a lovley pub with a really good atmosphere with a service which is second to none
  • buckingham does an interesting line in new age pubs with creche facilities, where all are entitled to drink themselves into a slobbering pikey mess
  • The White Hart was good for when I finished work as I had to only walk next door! A million pound refit? Where was it spent - on the landlords young mistress no doubt!
  • The Tudor is a pretty cool place to be as is The White Hart.
  • mitre now has new owners(john and alison) far better now more lively and worth a look.White hart hotel (million pound refit not worth it and dying off now)
  • The Grand Junction ( noisy hot lively pool playing drinking establishment) Tudor Rock (if your over 18 don't bother grandad) The Kings Head (if you're under 50 and can sing don't bother with the Karioke) The Whale (nice place if you like that sort of thing average) The White Hart (lively if you catch it on the right night) The Three Cups (YAWN) Villiers (Ra! Ra! Ra!We're orf to smash the oiks!!go here if Daddy pays your school fees and you like rugby!!!) The Woolpack (The schoolpack more like if you want to see all the weird and wonderful people that have moved to Buckingham, especially Northerners - go here!!) The New Inn (Strutt your funky stuff) The Mitre (Chestnuts roasting on an open fire!!!) The Britania (Chuck some more coal on the fire mate - it might wake the regulars up!!))
  • Buckingham has many pubs The Mitre is the oldest pub in Buckingham and in the oldest part of town. Definitely no chrome, no tv screens, no frills. The New Inn - small, popular and has live music. Three Cups - I think thats the dominoes pub. The Whale - a good lively, traditional pub. Villiers - bit trendy, bit busy - bit pricier - the kind of pub people like to meet up in. The Grand Junction - young and lively, nice and noisy, TV's, videos, billiards - the kind of pub where you have to shout ALL OF THE TIME - but good beer. Tudor Rock - a lovely tudor building - I think this is now where all the young dudes hang out on a Friday and Saturday night. The Woolpack - another old Buckingham pub in Well Street There are more pubs but you'llhave to see for yourself....
  • 3 cups - cheap, but dingy. Tudor Rock supposedly great if you're young. Though not at Lunchtime.
  • There are about six pubs, which are fairly lively. Unfortunately, that is all I can say about Buckingham.
  • The Junction has a good beer garden, near the river bank; the Mitre for pool and darts.
  • The Queen's Head in Chakmore village 2 miles outside Buckingham is probably the best in the immediate area.
