Skateboarding Spots
- theres actually a little skatepark type thing where the old outside swimming pool used to be... next to Q8
- The custome bulit skate park nr Q8 Garage/Budgens car park is where it all happens.
- The SK8 park is pretty good. They got it right for once. Gnarly concrete and metal coping in various forms. Mainly quarters & a midi. Pretty smooth all round. Could do with something bowl-like though. Feels better than wood or metal but hurts more when you slam. Very pleased it there though.... use it!
- decent steps next to macs news agents and loads of mad hills to scare tour self on.
- Buckingham has a brand-new dedicated skateboarding area, where the old outdoor pool used to be, but it never seems to be used.
- Stowe School. Head for swimming pool, turn left through woods. 4.5' high, 12' wide, spine 4' wide. Metal coping. Large concrete area is skateable. Contact Rob on 01280 816005 for up to date info.
