ButterCross tea rooms (formerly known as the "gay time" (in times of yor gay actually meant "happy") great nosh for little dosh. And camping on common tricky cos you gotta carry all your gear and loads of dog walkers and their prying eyes!!!
- Castle Hills-nearest spot for drinking illicit booze bought from the Co-Op.
Sandy River-famous swimming & hang out spot that's been going for decades.
The Common-great for camping & far removed from pryiny eyes.
- a good place was the castel, u could climb over the old rikity gate but they have now closed that off, put camras in and bars around.
