- The Ank-or (Anchor) on the quay has live music every Thursday, different bands every week, some are sick others are just ruff innit. We sit outside on the quay eyein the skirt, but their older than us, although we can keep dream'in.

- Pinchos Tapas restaurant and bar at 16 Maldon road Burnham on Crouch has live music most nights (closed mondays) Owner singer guitarist Juan sings in both spanish and english.On sunday nights there are often guest singers and they also have an open mike.
- Burnham does have a lot of live music around the pubs, again 18+. maybe twice a year a disco for younger people. every year, at the end of june, the burnham music festival is held. two days of it. i rate that highly.

- All the Yacht Clubs have regular band nights and special gigs. Try and get hold of one of their programmes.
- B.A.D.Folk (Burnham and Dengie Folk Club) meets on the last Friday of every month. We actually meet at the Station Arms, Southminster, from 8.30 till just after closing time. There's usually a taxi going back to Burnham (3 miles max.) if anyone needs a lift. It's a good music session: folk means jazz, blues, rock, indie, country, Irish, Scottish, traditional etc etc. As Secretary I can provide details if anyone wants to contact me: Clint Mann (Tel. 01621-784118).
