Hookup Spots
- The fish ponds next to the church, but theyve now installed cameras, nice one!
Bondi club untill it got closed down due to underage drinkers, haha
- second best hook up next to the band stand is, apex park....public and fun yet also private, just right for a quick hand/mouth job...watch out for the highbrillians though (people from highbridge who need to be shot!)
- Bandstand,Manor gardens, and up by the grass banks.
- You`re absolutely right, there really is nothing to do in your early teens in Burnham, exept join the frightfully young clientele of the pub fromerly known as"Michaels", Agghhh the memories of Stella`d winter nights sheltering from the rain and off shore howlers that rip up the esplanade, but on the flip side of the coin, who can forget those barmy nights of summer, Stella`d, sheltering from the rain and off shore howlers that rip up the esplanade. All in all, i now live in Australia and the memories of Burnham are some what distorted, but how could you possibly forget the feeling of pure desparation at Easter when you here for the first time that year, the dulsid tones of the first Welsh familly to turn up in your local and order "a lager and lime and a pint o` mild mate" and then its just purely down hil till the Carnival night, when you get to see the older generations of Burnham let themselves down in public and more importantly watch the whole place spring into action for a couple of hours.
All in al you may think I`ve been a little harsh on the place but like ou can`t pick your familly, you also can`t pick your home. And that it still very much is
- The best hook up spot in Burnham is the band stand in manor gardens. This is the place where all the 14 yr olds go to practice talking bo*****s and how to drink out of a warm can. When boredom sets in they all go on a trip to the arcades where they practice talking bo*****s and how to drink out of a warm can!!! ----Well this is Burnham
- Back in the '60s, we would hang out at the arcade next to the jetty, and we would spend all day roaming the dunes, picking on the hoiday makers
