- The Lansdowne. This pub up until about nine months ago was in bad need of refurbishment. New owners have refurbished both bars in the pub. The Back bar now stands alone in the area and is the only deasent place for young people to go. It is a breath of fresh air from the other pubs and it seems that it not run by the local nutters. The main bar now does food with a very good menu that seems to belong to a restraunt and not a pub. Its not expensive either. The pub now has a 2 am licence and has bands on the weekend and Djs in the back bar. It also has the famous Sweet Karaoke on saturday nites.
