Miss Black America were awful. They did get excited about being on John Peel's show but then they would wouldn't they?
Nobody. Nothing of any note. All bands in Bury are wannabe Suede or Pulp geeks. Miss Black America have even given themselves "stage" names. What a bunch of pretentious, stupid, untalented wankers they really are. (That's you, Mr Glass..)
For What We Lost-some posthardcore metal, fuckin awesome, Gamera-nice bit of grindcore, Rox off-play at the grapes occasionally good rock cover band, Mohawk-i think thats the name london area play around bury occasionally classic rock original and covers
nitch, relapse, aspen, skinticket are all most defianlty worth a listen.
Nitch, Miss Black America, and loads of them about, but none of them have made it big yet. Best place to go to get into Bury's Band Scene is The Grapes... (Used to be LF1's "Grave" night, but they stopped that.... damn them!!)
