  • Drunken slappers on the weekend who can barely walk in their high heels who insist on screeching very loudly
  • The right wing racists and facists
  • Old people.
  • Chavs, wannabe gangsters
  • Chick king is rank. Chav's
  • The new chavs outside woolworths
  • not mentioning names but lets say a market stall that contains a certain 'grim' guy we all love to hate
  • Rude boys taking the piss out of skaters
  • the loutish behaivour of some lads who really sholudnt drink FIGHTING EVERY WEEKEND it aint clever MEATHEADS,chill out THE STATE OF THE ROAD SURFACES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • B and Q trolleys, the wheels have a life of their own!
  • Gary boys. House prices. Limited nightlife. Small-mindedness. People who are dead against the new cinema...
  • All the Gary's reving up their engines and driving round town, makes me wanna scream!
  • Police in this town is good
  • Old people shouting at you to get off your skateboard.
  • The yobos that hang around being bastards
  • THE WORST THINGS ARE SCOOTERS ON RAMPS
  • WHY is there nowhere for teenagers to go?WHY can't under 18's go into Bury Bowl after 7 O'clock?past our bedtimes?i don't think!! What r we expected to do, no wonder there is so many problems with young people, what else r we supposed to do?we r bored!!Give us somewhere to go, NOT a Skatepark!!
  • Lots!
  • most of bury in fact
  • all the same type of people
  • If you're young U either go to uni and never come back or drive around in your gary boy car until your thirty!!!
  • Sunrise.
  • All the new houses going up on the edge of town, it's getting toooo big!!
  • the smell of the sugar beet factory
  • THERE IS NOTHING THERE! YOU HEAR ME, NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Gary Boys, Slags, religion, old people!
  • The lack of decent clothes shops, and the increasing amount of gary boys!
  • The nightlife is pretty nonexistent, the careers potential limited - if you want bright lights go elsewhere.
  • Market days when the drains are filled with leftover fruit
  • Students who go away then come back. Just leave you fading hippies.
  • Having lived in Bury St Edmunds all my life (so far), I despute the claim that Chicago's is a good night club. Also, whether Fleetwoods is the best pub depends on whether you like fights, drug dealers and people who don't wash much. I much prefer the Mason's myself.
  • The Public Record Office is a lovely place to do research. The staff there are particularly attentive if they know that you are not doing family history. And I second the recommendation for the Mason's.
  • I am a Bus Driver from Bury St Edmunds, and I agree along with most of the local population, that the service is rubbish. WHY? Coz it's run by a half wit.
  • Arthur Fowler isn't dead after all. He lives nearby our little town as do Bill Wyman and Terry Waite
  • The beer in Bury is the worst kind imaginable: Greene King, renowned for making people vomit. [Howls from CAMRA over that one?]
  • Can't believe anyone could hate Greene King! I left Bury 16 years ago for America and can't get Harvest Ale *anywhere* this side of the pond.
  • When I was posted near Bury in the American Air Force with my now ex-wife (from Berkshire), it was my favorite place to go. Beautiful country, nice town centre. Worst part was finding parking on Market Day. Nice shops there too. My favorite place was the Cinema. Good one with good movies.
