- The Newbridge National Trust woods out on the Liskeard Road are a nice place for a walk, climb up the old hill fort there (Cadsonbury Hill) for a great view. It's a great place for stargazing at night as well but it's a little creepy.
- Alot of people say that callington is full of "KEVS." The people who wrote that are old. They do NOT have 1-year old girls driving around in the back seats, and if they do....it's probably your children. What most people dont understand is that Callington is growing and the youth is as well. The people in their 30's + 40's dont understand that they had their thing when they were younger....the now teenage trend of *having a car *driving it fast * having FUN will actually carry on into their generation and will keep on going.
- Kit Hill is a good viewing point just outside Callington.
