• Having the likes of Carol o.gorman. tony trotman and peter dolman running local affairs! what a shoddy bunch of money grabbing, lazy, bastards!
• fat chavs and the stench of piss
• just the fact that the council cant be fucked to get off there ass and do stuff around here that benefits young people
• the spiked fence around st marys it prevents the yobs getting in and the girls getting out. shame.
• Calne Boys and their CHAV outfits thinkin they are 'HARD'
• Bob perkins at Arrow Cars what a T...T The only difference between a calne girl and a washing machine? The washing machine doesnt follow you around once you have dumped ya load in it!

• Calne should have been twinned with Auschwitz!it,s full of uneducated sorry looking low life! It,s said that when calne had a bomb dropped on it! 10,000 pounds worth of improvements occurred! the government should cut around the outskirts of calne and tow it out too sea and sink it!

• Pretty much everything, St. Marys, the library, phelps perade etc.
• agro centre (cam electronics)
• Locals
• Chow Mein / noodles and rice in Wongs House. Greasy, and no egg in the egg fried rice, just soy sauce and food colouring by the looks of it. Try maxims across the road and further up instead.

• the bloody wheat stack pub(i think thats what its called). with its blaring music on a friday night!
• All the ugly retards hangin about
• The kids. Probably not their fault they're bored, but they're generally foul-mouthed and prone to vandalism.
• Most of the residents.
• The stench of calne, but it is then filled with the enchanting smell of Ck perfume, Tommy Hilfiger, and Chanel perfume as the St. MAry's Calne girls waltz into the town for a little bit of ye olde shoppie!
• Constant feeling you are going to get killed
• Idols. The only place you could ever have a late drink in Calne, but what a dump.
• Calne --- apart from the Green which is gorgeous
• The inbreeds that hang around at Calne.
• Skateboarders and the Jolly Miller
• wel pretty much everything about Calne is badapart from the people (if you know them that is).
• The fact that it exists!!
• lack of any nightlife/decent venue
• There are no wheely bins provided by the council.
• Curzon Street - will someone hurry up and build that by-pass!
• Actually Calne has been bombed as was recommended by a writer. My father was the Maths teacher at the Bentley School and was going to take the children to the playground for break. However, it was raining and he decided to keep the children in the school. Five minutes later a German aircraft dropped a bomb which exploded in the middle of the playground harming no one. Going down to the pig yard and getting the pigs out of the lorries was the only thing to do when I was ten in Calne so things have improved. No, I tell a lie. You could hold the milkman's horse while he went up to the front doors and if you were lucky he gave you tuppence. The milkman, not the horse. Peter Travis
• There is a lot of crime - and some of it quite nasty. It's more like a small city if you just went by the amount and quality of crime around. It has a thriving drug underground - what do you want H, smack, coke, uppers, tabs?
• It's a dump. Calne's social problems make it a particularly uninspiring place. To be honest the best thing that could happen to Calne is if the IRA bombed the town centre, otherwise the 21st century is going to pass Calne by...
• No shops, no centre, no hope.
• Unfortunately Calne does have a traffic problem. Curzon street is to narrow for the large lorries. Demolish the buildings! I hear you say. One problem, the houses are actually very nice and are listed buildings. But don't worry, help is at hand, a new ring road is planned to be built within the next seven years.
• A plague of mini roundabouts.
• The site of the old gas works on Horsebrook was being redeveloped. The builders went bust leaving a half finished flat complex (surely something can be done with this?) and a huge piece of derelict land. Why hasn't someone done something this is prime land and the river Marden forms a great natural water feature.
