- try university cycles on victoria road bridge(mitchams corner) where bikes are cheap and the ppl are nice!
- Why on earth would you want to buy a moped or bicycle in cambridge.
The ratio of cycles to humans is amazing in cambridge and the recommendation of the day is to take one if you are in need of one.
There are plenty of bikes lying around for public usage, thats why those rusty old bikes aren't locked up, its public domain/property.
So, next time you come down to cambridge dont hire just use the community bikes at your convenience.

- Bishops bike shop in Histon is fantastic, no over inflated prices and helpful staff (person powered)
- Hundreds of push-bike shops, as you'd imagine.
- Howes are quite good for the person powered ones.
- there's a little bloke in Newnham Village who fixes push bikes, gives you new lights/baskets/puts on chains etc for bike incompetents like me, without taking the piss which is the most important thing.
