Demolish It Now Building

• foster mill near the station, has been there for like 100 years and completely out of use except by hovis breadmakers, flatten it now plz! also that glass office block THING on the corner of coldhams lane and newmarket road, its so useless
• The Cube next to Magdelane college visible from magdelane bridge.
• Addenbrookes hosptial
• Hmm can't think of any but then am still getting to know the place. the Regal (but save the Arts Picturehouse that's on top). Of course crap food venues like Muckymacs etc.
• The rasmous building by Sir Basil Spence
• The Crowne Plaza in Downing Street (especially the bus-shelter-like canopy in front of the main entrance)
• Anything built by that wanker Cripps. the UL, the raised fac building on sidgwick, typewriter at christs, magdalene etc etc

• There's such rivalry between the colleges, i think every college except Queens' should be demolished!
• engineering block - shouldnt that be up to date and well engineered?
• The DSS building
• The big round thing they havent finished building yet on East Road opp the cinema - summat to do with the magistrates - looks like a prison. The concrete prefab they also havent finsihed building (at time of writing) on the hill over yhe railway (junction side) thats going to be a hotel. No doubt they'll pretty it up with some cladding - but weve all seen how it was built. The offices built in the 90's on the run up the hill over the railway from town that stood empty for 10 years, been done up and look like they'll be slums again in another 10. They should flatten the whole of both sides of Newmarket Road from start to finish (I know they do this in bits every few years anyway) and start again but with a ban on 'retail parks' or commercial sheds.

• The Lion Yard,New student housing (most of which designed by ex east Germans!)

• The Grafters centre and all the people who shop in it.
• St. John's College.
• Cambrige United's Stadium
• the ship pub arbury
• park side swimming pool so they can build a huge skate park there.
• Where to begin? The Lion Yard, the Grafton centre, the police station, the lion yard car park, WHY OH WHY where such things allowed? They really mess up an otherwise beautiful city. Some people, still living, should be very, very ashamed. Oh, and all of the high street shops should be gutted, and allow smaller, friendlier and local retailers in.

• Hills Road Sixth form college
• Demolish the whooolllleee grafton centre, except for maybe H&M and that cheapy star river jewelry place, the rest is suck-ass townie crap
• The Raised Faculty building on the Sidgwick site. Or Lion Yard.
• most of cambridges architecture!
• Lion Yard and Burwell's Court are pathetic; and while the town centre car parks behind Lion Yard and on Park St have their use, they are as ugly as sin.
• Has't been built yet but plans for old Philips site on York Street that mean 4 storey flats full of nonces at the end of my garden.
• That useless office block on the corner of Brooklands Ave and Hills Road - the one that was built about 15 years ago and never used.
• That bloody awful Napp laboratories building on the science park, you know the one that looks like a gaint toast rack.
• Lion Yard - for obvious reasons
• The UL (University Library). It's definitely the ugliest - and the least useful!
• Christ's College New Block, aka "The Typewriter" because it looks JUST like one *arrgh* New Hall College - Built ENTIRELY out of white concrete *eeep* The Judge Institute - It's very VERY garish!
• Cambridge University Arms Hotel 1960s extension
• That ugly glass/metal eye-sore on the corner of Coldham's Lane and Newmarket Road !!
• Most of Cambridge University.
• the "ugly new bit" in just about every college.
• The coslett buiolding at A.P.U. Ugly 19 60's abortion.
