You can tell us more about Cambuslang.

  • nothing go to eastkilbride whsat a place have everything
  • nothing go to eastkilbride whsat a place have everything
  • less we count the vogue bingo naw sorry that was a picture hoose in the 1920s n 30s lol
  • there was but think its been a bingo fae 1950 odds!
  • aye there was one of these once .... oh shit forgot they turned it into the bingo!!!
  • have to go to east kilbride or town as there is no cinemas in cambuslang or ruggie
  • I would say the nearest cinema is def showcase at coatbridge which is only 10 min drive if you jump on the motorway at cambuslang, fine if you can drive. If not then you can get buses and trains really frequently into town. You have the odeon on renfield street, and there is the quay. Or you could get a bus to the forge or east kilbride cinemas. I think though that renfield street is the easiest to get to in town, although a new multiplex virgin cinema is opening soon quite near buchannan st bus station. There is bowling in East Kilbride, the quay, finneston and coatbridge. All equally hard to get to. Or you could join cambuslang or halfway bowling clubs! There is also a lazer quest in trongate beside poundstrechers and specsavers, which is fun. You feel like sigourney weaver in aliens!
  • it would be good to get a cinema in Cambuslang, but lets face it, unless there were decent parking facilities which were secure, is anyone really going to travel to watch stuff here? judging by the current Bingo hall which I believe was previously a cinema, if that was all on offer, would you pay 4.50+ for a seat????
  • The UCI in East Kilbride or the Virgin in Parkhead (go Celtic!) are the closest and not to long a drive (or train or bus journey) away.
  • One cinema, long since converted to bingo. Parkhead or East Kilbride are probably the nearest multiplexes - Glasgow City Centre is easier to get to though.
