- Party In Hiroshima - beautiful ethereal post rock
- Almost too many bands to choose from around here. The two most memorable ones recently were 'Jodie Lee Parker' and 'The Storms'. The girl singing for Jodi Lee Parker (Jodie, I guess) was damn hot, even if the music wasn't amazing. The Storms are one of those new electro-rock bands and boy do they know how to write songs.
- Apollo 440 started out of Camden (though they're based in Kings Cross now) - they still do stuff, although Camden-based band founder Howard Gray has gone back into production - he's recently worked with guitar bands like Cherubs, the Cazalles, Art Brut (sort of a Camden band - Eddie Argos is a former Camden social worker - so he'll never run out of jobs) and Dogs
- I saw an absolutely awesome band that I think were called Visitor Q at the new Marquee Club in Leicester Square a couple of months ago. The singer was like some sort of New Orleans voodoo dude on angel dust and although I'm sure it's not a genre, the band were sort of punky-rocky-metally-poppy-weird, if that makes any sense. I've seen stuff for them around Camden and I think they're based around here somewhere. Check them out. I guarantee that, even if you don't like them, you'll definately remember them.
