• The Gunny!!! Long hot summers as a kid - just a flat bit of wood with some rollerskate wheels nailed to it - grazed knees and brokern fingers - good memoreis

• Thw twig team is now call BASICX and a video is 4 sale in limit skateshop southend the group is Louis Blom-Bobby East- Sam Watson-Luke Foxwell- Sam Jackson-~Ollie Hill-Ian Fatez-David Kidd- and James Russel there are sum good spots around bas the best in da area and fenchurch street is the best!!!!!!!!!

• the best place to meet is up town just by the new choices shop usually theres about 12 to 20 of us down there if u skate your quite welcome other spots are the library the oyster fleet and behind the car park by the bank (has a gnarly 5ft drop) canvey aint that bad 4 skaters tom burt
• there are no skate parks in canvey yet but a park is going to be built at the start of the summer which is cool. town has the best skate spots so go there.
• The Skateboarding ppl need to sort it out bit, cuz no1 likes em they get in the way and they ave theifed me old spot down the town.

• Waterside has a beefy ramp...all the faggot sk8ers dis it and say its crap,they only sy this coz they cant sk8 it. if u are up for a challenge or like big ramps this is the oe for you. canvey have a local team called TWIG they are all phat sk8ers,they hang by the library or the youth club,theres a nice hndrail there down a 5 set. theres a good wall gap by barclays bank.theres always boxs and ramps out in the street so check em out. • There is nowhere 4 us teenagers to go wiv out being slagged off by old fogies. The town is the place 4 kids from Castle view + Cornelius But evry1 is scared of us!!! my dad teaches at cornelius and says "if u talk to them they're normal people just like you and me were. Rude boys and girls r there 2, and they drink smoke and vandalise the place, but it's us sk8rs and grungers that get the blame. IT AIN'T FAIR!!!!!!!!

• its hard to miss em if ur a sk8r then check out the library or as i call it th monkey hut also outside images, there all there even mini 1's in th makin

• WATERSIDES GOT A RAMP!
• The Gunney: Freestyle area with banks. Rickety ramps appear now and then Behind swimming pool: 6' high, 24' wide, metal surface, slightly gnarly lip. Big platforms, hardly any snaking. Fast. OR: This is a metal surface with no ply ramp so big noise. Small trans, so it nearly goes to vert. Coping sticks out a mile. Hang-out for casuals and tossers. Sez one who thinks the place is a pile of shit. Go to the Gunney, he recommends. Or look out for secret Southend minis.
