  • mbc
  • Lots of people hang around smallmans, aka cathays park, behind the museum.
  • men and women ready to meet up for friendship, love or SEX in your area www.ukflirt.vze.com
  • Kings cross rules
  • kingsway - wicked
  • Its the Pen and Wig at the moment for a game of Trivial Pursuit and some tasty food. In my final year at uni it was the 24 hour vending machine room in the bioscience building. Normally at around 4am to panic with other people who hadn't done any work either.
  • castle grounds, by the stones, watching the goths and stoners getting cained and paranoid. losers
  • I've always met people at the top of Queen Street outside Sainsbury's or by the St David's Hall.
  • Cardiff has the best bus service in the whole of UK. The students from the Gloucestershire area of England add a touch of class to the student population. As for Ely, NO COMMENT!
  • Callaghan Square just outside the centre of town. With the statue of the Marquis of Bute, in one of his more camp poses showing too much thigh for my liking! A good place to hang out and see kids fall off of skateboards whilst trying to perfect a ollie or sometimes even something as hard as an kick flip! Also you get the pleasure of watching huge sea gulls + a couple of ducks!? Swimming around in the fountain!!!!
  • Tesco's albany road.
  • Can anyone tell me about the club "sandy's" is it jumpin' or just flat let me know
  • in front of the student union. Great place to start the day with friends.
  • The ex-band stand is the only place worth meeting anyone - Between virgin in the capitol centre and NatWest
  • The stones in the Castle Grounds always fun to play "spot the nirvana fan" there in the summer
  • mill lane, loads of pubs to sit out on and get pissed in the summer, the best atmosphere going, almost continental
  • the monument, opposite the hilton hotel, and around the subway area
  • Errr so many. sitting outside Macdonadls, roof of virgin megastore,
  • Definately the bus station - a collection of teenage pub drinker wannabies, tramps and hookers... nice
  • The best place appears to be the ridiculous stone circle in Bute Park (part of the Marquis of Bute's ostentatious plans to spend all his money in the 1900s). Young metal munchkins quaff cider while watching the townies for signs of flick knives.
  • Plenty of them in Cardiff...for the students it has to be the bottom of the Union steps! For the skaters, it's the paved bit behind the Hilton. Oh, and we mustn't for get the Cardiff bus crew...a group of teeny-bopper delinquents that just loiter aimlessly around the bus station. Nice!
  • All 12 to 21 year olds who hang around the bus station, abusing the general public are all tossers and should be beaten on sight. (preferably with a BIG stick) !
  • The bandstand on saturday arround 12 is buzzing, The castle grounds (very dodgy),Roath park and lake and Cardiff bay
  • Outside McDonalds on Queen's St, *surely*
  • Definately the bandstand - but where has it gone ? Is it ever coming back ? For us students the "bottom of the union steps" or "outside main building" tends to be a common one
  • All the new paved and beautiful areas around Central station must be cool for boarders - not that I'd know. Never skated in my life.
  • The bandstand has been taken down, well it wasn't there when i last looked. Now theres just a circle of raised concrete. How cool. Also The Castle Grounds, which even tho im 18, i will stil be there most of the summer, unconscious with the rest of the misfits. A lot of muggings happened last year tho, so bring a weapon.
  • The statue of Anurin Bevan.
  • 13 year old wannabe moshers always hang around the Castle grounds, smoking and trying to look intimidating. If you can nab the sacred stones before they hog them, its a nice place to sit 'n' drink with your mates.
  • "The band Stand" - er, a band stand, opposite end of Queen Street to the castle, outside Virgin Megastore, top end of Churchill Way (good place to collect people by car !!) - EVRYONE meets there !
  • The bandstand, just out side Virgin Museum steps, next to the museum
  • Castle Grounds Especially in the summer
  • The bank steps (where the banks used to be), easy to find from railway station. Just keep walking in a straight line out of main entrance for 100 yards. Weeknights 7pm. Weekends 1pm.
