The Best Things in Cardigan, Ceredigion*

If you're around, be sure to check these things out

You can tell us more about Cardigan.

The Best Things
  • The people are some of the friendliest you could meet.
  • You call them pavements, we call them free car parks and there's plenty of them as long as you don't park in the town centre. The traffic warden doesn't move away from the centre so there are plenty of places to park, I don't know why everyone moans about the cost of car parking in Cardi, I never pay. You always get one or two moaners who tell you not to park on the pavement, I tell them to f**k off, anyway it's fun to see the wheelchair and buggies users jumping out of their skins when they get blasted by car horns as they walk in the road!!
  • Prince Charles Quay is ace now, the old quay used to be full of fogies eating their sarnies at lunchtime or families with their bratty kids lookin over the wall at the river. Pat on the back for the man who designed it, there ain't no benches with backs so the fogies don't eat there anymore and the new wall at the front is too tall for kids and most of their mum and dads to look over so they can't see the river anyway so the families don't hang out there anymore, (they're also scared their brats will fall through the gaps along the wall), brilliant, more space for me and the crew!! So all you fogies, bad backers and bratty little kids who need proper benches to sit on, tough, we don't want you around. They got rid of all the stupid bushes and flowers too so now we don't get pestered by bees and hippies who like their stupid plantlife. Can't wait for the Big Art thingy with the mics so I can say who shagged Ieuan's woman the night before, BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • laughing at the desparado hambons trying to pull 'fit birds' on a saturday nite.
  • long silence............................*tumble weed rolls past*
  • in life are free so the forest
  • otter sculpture, wrecked ship in the estuary, seagulls which catch bread in mid-air
  • MARTIN DAVIES!! MARTIN DAVIES!! MARTIN DAVIES!!
  • wollwortsh, every thing os on a 5 thinger discount.

  • the river and PUBS!!!!!!!!!
  • Great town for being laid back and watching the world go by.
  • i live there
  • The best things in Cardigan are me and my friends! Who i really miss, as i'm moving to pastures new in Jan, those who know me know who i am - i love you all, keep in touch bunnies and chicks!!
  • Me and my friends!! You know who you are!
  • the people as there are some great and the places to stay like hotels what are run by great welsh ladys that give you the best food that anyone could give you fresh ans more than you can eat they realy treat you in cardigan
  • All my friends, the freaky people, and the alcohol.
  • You get served booze in heaps of pubs if you are under 18.
  • ALL THE GIRLS I KNEW AND ALL THE SLIGHTLY OLDER WOMAN.
  • netpool mwldan taking the piss not being serious
  • The sea, the hippies, the mushrooms and the fact that however low you're feeling, you can sit back and think, 'Atleast I don't live there anymore.'
  • Quiet, sleepy little country town and thus probably hated by resident teenagers who will observe (accurately) that there is nothing to do AT ALL. This, of course, is the attraction if you're used to Tokyo or London, in which case you find that you quite like the idea of doing nothing for a change. Lovely part of the world, but I'm glad I only go back to see my family.
