- The Cellar bar has good entertainment and the local group Whiskey Business play a lot of there gigs there usually to raise money for the forces.
- The Castle Cafe Cellar Bar has the widest range of live music in the area at a fiver a ticket with a free meal chucked in you cant go wrong (unless yer a cheep skate.

- Yhe Theatre Mwldan do a nice little African jiggy thing from time to time, raves etc never heard of. Maybe they did at one time but there must have been a fight or three and that was that!
- They used to have good bands down the Angel (and some not so good ones too!). Usually some fucking hambone will start singing and spoil the act!
- Some times there's crappy disco's at the Wine Bar if you stomp your feet too hard by the dj the music goes off!! Good set up there Nick! - NOT! Then there's the 50 year old bouncer on the door who thinks he's god's gift ! Think again John Bonk Charles!
- You need to venture out a bit further here. 5 miles out of town try and go to any event organised by Nik Turner, the man can put on a party.
- Theatre Mwldan often has some good music down there, only the other week they had a Taiko drum group from Japan in there, they also starred on Jim Davidsons Generation game so they must be quite good
