  • Like we have a choice! Vue cinema is all we have!
  • Village Cinema - Rip off, but it's the only one left now.
  • no decent ones since they fixed the fire escape doors to stop you sneaking in
  • Carlisle is suffering from a cinema problem at the moment, the Warner is expensive and they are shutting down the reliable and cheaper Lonsdale.
  • vue and lonsdale
  • brill! the village cinema, botchergate. very good!
  • warner village, fit workers and nice cheese nachos, cheapest on a tuesday
  • village cinema on botchergate is far too expensive for us students betta heading to the old pics on warwick road
  • the little lonsdale cinema- cheep and cheerful!
  • Rubbish! The Warner cinema gets films in weeks after the release date and the prices are massively over the top, espesh' the 'student prices'; arent they suposed to be cheaper?! I will be gutted when the Lonsdale closes down; it's reasonably cheap, most of the staff are nice and you can smoke in the lobby, we all bloody well needed to after three hours of Lord of the Rings!!
  • Village - or lonsdale
  • lonsdale - support your local family run cinemas !
  • Theres 2 main cinemas in carlisle, Lonsdale and Warner village, Both are basicly the same, Apart from the price! Go to the Lonsdale!!
  • When I woz a lad it wer great - no multiplex cinemas in my days, oh no. It was the big silver screen and there was bugger all else to do.
  • not bad at the mo, just need to get films sooner.
  • The Village mint seats stupid food prices and easy enough to smuggle some peave into.
  • save money and go to the lonsdale.
  • Warner booo!!! Support the local Lonsdale Cinema. The staff are much nicer, and the price is much cheaper!!
  • Come on you've got to be joking. Check out the Lonsdale if you want a laugh - it's run by a team of old grannies and I'm not joking. I was expecting the building would have lost its whole staff by the time the film ended.
  • The Village multiplex cinema is one of the only good things about Carlisle. Great cinema and a good evening out.
  • lonsdale/city, only independant cinema in town, plays arthouse/unusual stuff on monday nights, called the MONDAY ALTERNATIVE. cheap too.
  • Warner Village - typical multiplex - comfy seats and big screens. Rip off, though Lonsdale and City - still plodding along. Seats ain't as comfy but you should support them - they show some 'alternative' films bow.
  • to b honest is there really much point in having 2 cinemas in a small city, i mean whats the point
  • Village is way too expensive
  • SAVE THE LONSDALE!!!!!!!!!
  • Village cinimas. its about a fiver for popcorn
  • Honestly, I went to the Lonsdale Cinema once and it was like an old folks' home the wrong way round: the old folk ordering the young folk around! All the staff were women over 65! Naturally I mocked their girdles.
  • always the lonsdale, fuck warners (even if its great)
  • If you were gonna be loyalLonsdale Cinema, not bad. City Cinema like being in a mini bus!
  • Warner brothers cinema is great, but i swear if that cunt sticks his foot in my back again i'm gonna turn round and tell him he better fuckin watch it. Then pop next door to " voted britains best entertainment bar" -Mood, only to not get past the foyer cos your'e wearing trainers.
  • Londsdale,Five screens blockbusters to arthouse cheap to get in. Warner Village,Usual multiplex setup £1.75 for a small coke!!!!!
