  • Thongs n Things, 144 Botchergate, Carlisle. Has some fabulous sexy lingerie and adult themed items. Well worth a visit and you will find things to suit most tastes. Specialises in corsets, basques and hosiery and has a great range of leather.
  • All the charity shops! although wigton has a better variety than all of them put together which makes no sense as its a small town!
  • Strawberry fields has a selection od vintage clothing
  • tuns, tuns, and tuns.
  • topshop
  • HARRABY #1
  • all the regulars like topshop, miss selfride, h&m, original shoe, scotts
  • Been there done that is a new quicksilver, roxy shop. its CRAP!
  • oxfam, salvation army and lidl are where scallys should buy their clothes.fucking little shits that think there hard

  • Quiz, Mk One, JD, Topshop, New Look, River Island, JJB, House of Fraser,
  • shite. Just pish like Original Shoe(very uncool shop to be seen in)
  • Room 26 and Scotts,Bit Pricey though so scally's can get themselves ta the nearest sport shop.
  • go to Newcastle or Manchester as we are 2 or 3 years behind and £30 to much
  • Go to Newcastle!
  • McDonald's skip.
  • The best shop is either MK1 or McKINNON in the lanes. The sales are fucking excellent. Also International is top for accessories as is Claire's. Ann Summers has the sexies underware!! (if you want to pay 9 pound for a thong)
  • Topman and House of Fraser are great as in every city
  • strawberry fields, with dave the lovely hippy! only place you'll get anything unique in carlisle
  • TK Maxx is cool and cheap. Everywhere else a bit too expensive for someone like me.
  • the usual shite, topshop although do recommend vixen, near debenhams
  • Try that hippy vintage place just along from Yates. The rest of the clothes shops can suck my smegmatic dong - escept River Island where I once got a rather suave metallic purple tie.

  • War on Want
  • maelstrom for cheap jeans and fith year school girls!
  • TK max is your best bet - look for clearance line bargains such as tommy hilfiger baggy cords combat style for £11.
  • Room 26 expensive but well stocked all the top brands stone island, armani ect.
  • Glad to say for a small city it has some very good designer outlets!!! Lived away for 8 years now and every time I go back I manage to pick myself up something that would take me hours to find trapsing around big cities like Liverpool/Manchester. The only problem is that everyone there seem to wear the same (Burberry, Rockport, Stone Island) so I have to move back away before wearing them!!
  • Image, small but excellent selection of designer clothing reasonably priced. Room 26 large shop with plenty of top names, knowlagable friendly staff but quite exspensive.

  • All the clothes shops in carlisle are purely dedicated to charvas.
  • The usual - Arcadia group stuff. Head in the general direction of Room 25 on Bank Street. Watch yourself though, they'll expect a good credit rating just to look through the window. If you can find a way in to House of Fraser (Binns as everyone still knows it) past the Perfume counter, they have some decent stuff
  • I'm still looking for a decent one!
  • room 26 is not the same since that cheeky chappie paul tombo left!!!!
  • original shoe- lanes great place.
  • New shopping centre in Gretna - cost about £2 day return from carlisle - discounts on really top class designer clothing - worth checking out!!!
  • Raggz, Treasury Court where a t-shirt costs £40
Raggz is moving to a larger premises on Bank Street, where the Leeds used to be. It's name is getting changed to ROOM 26, and will be stocking even more great clothes according to the paper. It was looking fairly smart but it wasn't open when I went back to Uni.
