Still looking for info on a lost relative of my stepfather. Greta Whittall ( nee Emondson) born 1909 Barrow-in-Furness, left or was kicked out of the family home due to a crises not known as my stepfather was only four years old, never heard from or saw her again, knows nothing of her family, just really trying to find what become of his mother during the time she went, her birth certificates sta tes William Edmondson b: 1888 as her father, Angelina Edmondson ( nee Harvey) as mother. 1911 census shows her as an only child at that time aged two, living at 89, Smeaton Street, Cumbria. it is thought that she may have went to London or Scotland, could have remarried had more children whatever. any info would be much appreciated ... more >> Reply

Funny as anything. All sorts of randoms on it It's basically a landline telephone number you can ring. 0870 755 0872. Where you get put into a waiting facility, it then connects you to another caller, you say hello, and they can choose whether to talk to you, or put you back in the queue because they don't like the sound of you or whatever hahaha. 10 year old Emma has had surgery for Scoliosis and is now campaigning to raise awareness of the condition and for all children in the UK to have the very simple 'bend forward' test to get an early diagnosis of Scoliosis. She has an online petition at http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/start-testing-for-scoliosis-in-schools. Emma is aiming for 1000 signatures and currently has just short of 300... I'd like to see this figure go through the roof!!! This is an issue close to my heart as my son was diagnosed with adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis at 16 and had surgery last november when he was aged 18 and a half. Many thanks! I spent over 2hrs in a shop near some trendy wine / club bars and I think just off the train station & entrance to the castle, but can't for the life of me remember its name!!! (We had to walk past a few charity shops en route if this helps?) The owner is one the large side and has stacks of used cds and all the vinyl at the rear of the shop! Any he lp guys?
