I am looking for the family of Amos and Christiana Pinney who emigrated from Luton, Bedfordshire, England in 1866. They had a son, Amos and a daughter, Christiana who traveled with them.

They settled in the New South Wales area, where their daughter, Christiana Pinney married a Frederick Silver in 1888.

Hi, I'm trying to find the family/anyone who might have knowledge of a former Carlton pit coalminer named Thomas Rodgers Stewart. He worked and lived for a time in/near Carlton before the 1950s (he was a Scotsman, born in Fife in 1903). Tom would have been well known around his locals.     My ancestors live in Carlton and started the methodist church.There is a gravestone for one of them in church yard.
    Are there Ransons still in the area?
    Does anyone know of the history of Carlton?
