I am trying to trace a Mrs Marion Mason who lived in Carluke in 1952.As she was a widow at that time, her surname might have changed.
I would be grateful for any information, however small.

Ownership of Primrose Cottage passed to Ebenezer in 1930. He subsequently gave the cottage to his sister Maggie. I believe that her married name was Frame.

Any of the Murrays I mentioned above will have been born too long ago to be your grandfather. However my grandfather was John Murray whose family moved from Carluke to Liverpool before WWI. He was born in 1885.
