- Best area for live pub music is Camden such as Dublin Castle, Parkway; Barfly, Chalk Farm Rd; Jazz Cafe, Parkway; Caernarvon Castle,Chalk Farm Rd; The Underworld, Opposite Tube; Purple Turtle,nr. Mornington Cres. station +various others
- Ronnie Scotts in Soho. Great place, music til early hours. 100 Club in Oxford Street. Sometimes have great bands but rarely have any advertsing. It hasn't changed for years and is run in haphazzard way but it's quite fun.

- 12 Bar Club in Denmark Street - small, mainly acoustic dive - great people - some really good theme nights (punk, metal, showcases, etc)
