They say "bread", but what they mean is this mass you use to make sandwiches. Now, how is it possible that a nation that has achieved so much throughout the centuries keeps producing this? I've got a theory. I think they do it to annoy the French.
They say "winter", but the skirts the women wear here say "July".
They say "Southern", "First Capital Connect", "DLR", "Overground", "National Rail"... What they mean is: “Train”.
They like to say "K" for "thousand", coming from "kilo". Which sounds a bit funny in the British version of the song "Thousand Miles".
They say "haitsh" for "H", which sounds a bit like... sneezing. Gesundheit!
They say "cAn't" for "can't", which is perfectly acceptable and British and stuff, but it still sounds a bit indecent.
They say "pound", which sounds like "1.15 euros".
They say "cheers" for "thank you", which, on some occasions, might sound a bit too cheerful. Like, for example, on occasions that involve a funeral.

Women were excluded from sport and education under the Taliban but now that fundamentalists are no longer in power, some women are seizing their chance to partiicpate in sports in cludin gfootball. The women of the national soccer team play with covered arms and legs (and when the camera's rolling, with headscarves) yet no other internaional team has ever come to play them in Afghanistan - and NATO's women soldiers are no match.

Female Professional Boxer and Personal Trainer Marianne ‘Golden Girl’ Marston has created an all new Boxing and Boxing based fitness class for women. The Ladies Boxing and Boxing Fitness classes are one hour in duration and are held at The Boxing Clinic. 29 St Albans Place, Islington, London N1 0NX on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6.30pm

The Boxing Fitness classes, Marianne created, are far removed from the aerobic 'Boxercise' classes offered by most fitness centres and personal trainers. These classes are the real deal and include many of the conditioning exercises and boxing drills she personally uses in her own, and athlete clients, competition preparations.
