Live Music Venues
- Scotties once hosted 'Paul Caden's Revolting Stickheads' A now unknown band.
- Just below the Tim Tim Club is Michaela Strachan's! A bar themed after former TV-AM glow girl Michaela Strachan, it plays host to some good gigs and some bad gigs. Just like anywhere I suppose really. Recent gigs include performances by "Slain by r444444(4)4,f" and DJing assault gigs by "DJ Sixty-Fifth Birthday Party" and "Ning Ning Ning Ner Ner Ning". Also, another band that likes to play here often is loveable local favourites; "Paul Caden's Revolving Machinehead" who always love playing Chaffley because of the warm people and warm traditions. Lead singer Shaun Fenlan says; "We love playing Chaffley, it's got such warm people and warm traditions. Plus the fact that we get free Royal Jelly every time we play here by order the mayor." All their previous gigs have been great successes, apart from the one where the band accidentally opened fire on the audience, killing twelve and irrevocably damaging the teak veneer on Shaun's wooden leg.
- The now famous band "Paul Caden's Revolving Machine Head" have set up a live music bar for avant garde and ambient bands to play their own sweet sweet tunes till their noses bleed and every one leaves through utter boredom
- Studio 42 is all right if you like music that sounds like whelks being crushed underfoot, but if you like real music, a bit like Trad Jazz, then Mangtra on the Clacton is the place for you. Bands such as Mangtra (for whom this club is epynonmously named) and 'No One Likes Us' perform various Jazz standards and jazz interpretations of 80's pop hits, such as 'Spin Me Right Round (like a Record)' by "Dead or Alive" and 'Room at the Top' by Adam Ant. Other than this, there is very little in the way of live music, though a few pubs such as
the "Flan and Prawn" on the Chaffley road do have live bands sometimes.
