Cheap Food
- flames, not bad, fish and chips which is crap.
- Amersham's good for little restaurants supplying great food on a budget.
- Chung Yin House right at the top of the high street near the clock on the common. (Chinese). Fish Shop at the top of the high street. "Flames" opposite Bidgens car park entrance.(Burgers/Kebabs/Steaks). The Golden River along the same road as "Flames" it's next to a another shop (Chinese).
- Tripti....bloody stunning Indian.
Tabla....indian again, but someone got stabbed in the kitchen. You decide.
Sreethi...indian again! that bout all in chalfont
- Great selection of take aways - Chinese from the Chung Ying house on Gold Hill common, fish and chips from Sunrise are dodgy (got food poisoning from there once many years ago), a very decent Indian restaurant called Tripti, a new-ish sit down Indian called Tabla, which looks overpriced - and a new one I haven't ever tried. And a Dominoes pizza. For posher food, there's the restaurant at the Greyhound pub, or head for Santucci's in Gerrards Cross.
