- Apart from the humorous "Chavs/Townies" that hang around the high street and commons. The Circus and the Fun fair usaual turn up on the random on gold hill common.
- Nice punk bloke who hangs around in a kilt- lovely chap! Gets mocked a lot though.
- Lots of loonies and inbreeds. Most are okay, but there the usual tosspots u find anywhere I suppose.
- The singing man on the bus routes around the area- theres also that guy with no teeth that rides around on his bike washing cars!
- There used to be a french-dressed guy on a bike selling onions outside Midland Bank in the early 1990s, and there also was an old Organ (with monkey) at the same time in the Precinct
