• Possibly the only area in the country that has escaped Starbucks.
• the ciber cafe at th chatham end of rochester high street beautiful food,get ur moneys worth + they recognise u + remember ur order if u go in regularly
• Alleyway Cafe in Chatham High St does a cup of tea for about 30p - you cant say fairer than that?
• The Alleyway Cafe - Even John Travolta would be proud of grease on this kind of level
• Several good places in The Pentagon, and the High Street.
• Mrs Bumbles is very nice (middle of Rochester High Street) and so is Cockings in Chatham Highstreet (Near McDonalds) but dont order a jacket potato unless your starvin!

• My Cafe next to Barclays bank does a lovely breakfast for those lazy sunday mornings, the waitress is a bit miserable though. Cockings- I hope i spelt that right, has the biggest jacket potato's i've ever seen! and tea in a pot!
• The only Internet Cafe i Chatam is @ CCIT Systems, Chatham High Street - just up from Argos
• Mall Cafe in the Pentagon Centre! For the hunter-on-safari-observing-animals-in-their-natural-habitat-type-buzz.
• The Pentagon Grill for the best (carnivorus) breakfast
• The Pentagon cafe ( at top of crap excuse of a shopping centre) used to have the girl from hollyoaks working there!
