- Lord Raglan.........FUCKING COOL
- Post Office- friendly staff and cheap drinks!
- tap and tin
- rochester high street
- Tap'n'Tin.
- I can't believe all these people recommending the Tap n Tin. It's by a VERY long way, the WORST pub in Chatham. Very strange people and an almost guaranteed terrible night. Try the Post Office or The Tiger Moth instead.
- Tap ‘n’ Tin (station road near the Kebab Express). Was a rock pub a few years ago but they started to lose money after they got busted for selling alcohol to under 18’s but the rock people still hang out there as well as the pikeys (occasional fights are commonplace now).
- medway queen
- Tap and Tin is good - the Libertines and Billy Childish show their faces there occasionally.
Command House is nice.
- Tap n Tin, which is great, Command house is ok, hundreds of pubs, but most not too much fun!
- Most Pubs in Chatham are s**t, with some notable exceptions - The Tap 'N' Tin (by the viaduct) is really cool, The Hogshead (Railway St) is popular, and The Alex (near Chatham Station) is a good Shepherd Neame Pub.
- Tap n Tin is wicked, but if you're a mindless thug who wants to start a fight dont bother, bouncers have zero tolerance policy so bugger off to Rochester High Street somewhere.
- Hen and chicks is crap
- Dont even attempt it in Chatham, be brave and venture to Rochester more choice, although, sum advice, particularly if female do not go alone, and make sure u have sum1 to get home wiv who will see u rite to the door Chatham/Rochester are very dangerous places.
- Again...The Tap 'n' Tin ! Best Pub in the Town (and ive been in a few !)
- O'Connels is only a good laugh on St paddys day the rest of the time your likely to end up with a broken nose!
- Tap 'n' Tin
Command House
Huntsman
General at Sea
- Tap n' Tin. Matt Hayward, the King of the Tap, is a Nice Bloke. The staff wear special T-shirts which you can tell in a few years are going to be the Next Big Thing to wear to Subs/Old Subs. Printed at the T-Shirt Shop, so they are -- in the Pentagon offices. Bands every Friday. Open mike night every Thursday -- always a laugh, but when Stevie starts doing Nirvana or Matt starts doing Soulwax, it's probably best to go and play Hangman. Or eat free food. Or play pool in the nice new room. Or put some songs on the well-stocked jukebox -- they've even got Urusei Yatsura in there, along with a few local bands, like (sic) upsy-downsy-leftsy-rightsy-abc-start and Longplay.
- Tap 'n' tin y'all. The most credible drinking establishment in the Medway Towns. They do free food! Yes! Really!
- just an update. the tap and tin is actually the tap 'n' tin. it is not a trendy place to be. it plays rock and metal music, like all good pubs, making it a pub for grungers
- Only two decent pubs in Chatham (as mentioned before) Tap and Tin (mainly alternative crowd) which has three floors and various different events going on during the week. The Command house is great in the summer time, down by the river, play live football aswell. Firkin used to be good about 2 years ago, now just full of Chatham chavs.
- All pretty bad, unless you like the 'hard as me braces and bruvver' culture. Full of drugs as well, not that the police can do sod all about it, other than keep on blaming and arresting doorman.
- Bar M New Road Chatham.Trendy Decor with a big screen and Djs Thurs,Sat and Sun with live bands on a Friday free entry and a pool table and mad all dayers on a bank holiday.
- The Alexandra, up near the Viaduct.
- Tap and Tin (under the arches near Wickes), The Command house
- The Tap and Tin (or some such similar name) has recently come to my attention as being quite trendy for Medway and is next to the fire station and as such is where the fire men go after their shift. So that might be worth knowing, then!
- Francis & Firkin - Good range of beer and bands. Also show footie lots The Command House - Big beer garden and when you're so drunk you can't cope, there's a river.
- I can definitely recommend the Hog's Head pub "The Prince of Wales" (unfortunately they've now boarded up the bottom of the sink in the ladies, which had lovely comfy carpet under it - I know because I've had a good kip there... TWICE! Piss head? ME? Never! It's a vicious lie I tell you!). The other pub I'm rather fond of is "The Command House", by the river near Fort Amherst.
