Record Shops
- Virgin V Shop now sells shoes
- 2011 new HMV opened in Pentagon, Sounds Perfect is still in the High St for Indie stuff and music gear but called something else now.
- Records? what are they, ya mean mp3's m8...yeah i juz download em fo free mate.
- Not a lot - Sounds Perfect opposite Argos
- A couple of good ones are in nearby Gillingham in Canterbury Street close to the intersection of the main High Street
- Recollect in Strood is cool - loads of choice current and collector stuff the guy who runs it Melvin Sage is a very well conected chap.
- AIR ENTERTAINMENT - They sell a wide range of c.ds, d.v.ds and games. I always find a bargain.
- Air Entertainment is the best shop in Kent
- Air Entertainment - man they were playing Sonic Youth on the video wall, how call is that.
- Air Entertainment -Do the lot,go in on a saturday, shop bursting with chicks.
- Sounds Perfect I suppose, very good selection, but its like going into that "high fidelity" film, the staff think theyre above everyone else, despite the fact that theyre all about 25 adn still working the same job as they had when they were 17.
- Slippy's Vinyl 48 High st Chatham (opposite Tax Office). Slippys' has been open for nearly three years and sells a good variety of dance music including hard house/trance, tech house, break beat, funky house, prog, DnB. Fresh tunes on an almost daily basis, friendly staff, listening posts. What more could you want from a record shop?
- Sounds Perfect (in the high street opposite Argos) virtually the only alternative record shop in the Medway area, a good selection of underground music.
- Sounds perfect In chatham highstreet is best record shop
- Sounds Perfect, think High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, and you've got Sounds Perfect!
- One good one in the High Street (Was Our Price - Then Virgin - I've forgotten who owns it now) It's near the Co-Op.
- V shop is pants now, it was better when it was Our Price. Air Entertainment's not too bad, and the blokes in there are really helpful.
- crappy one at the beginning of the highstreet that sell second hand junk.
just shit if you ask me
- VShop
Music Box
Air Entertainment
- Loco Records in Church Street (Tesco end of the High Street). Very friendly big bloke called Gary.
- Soundsperfect opp. argos
- 'sounds perfect', the best place to find a wide variety of rock and metal merchandise. it also sells a wide variety of guitars and bass
- Try 'Loco' record shop east end of high street for good club music.
- Loco records has a dodgey bloke who works there called Mr Pind whos also a Dj so he knows his stuff if your after a bit of quality dance music.Ask him who tried to set his trousers alight and nicked the needle off the decks mid way through his set.HA ha.....
- Our Price, is now a Virgin. Did they re-employ the same miserable gits to work there? Especially that tall mongy inbred gink who looks like jaws from the Bond Films. Customer Service with a smile is anathema to him probably because he is always drugged up. And none of them know anything about music.
- Sounds Perfect, a shop that deals in that almost illicit substance - Vinyl !
- There's not much in the Medway - even the chains don't have listening posts. Forget the name but there is a somewhat shady place in the Pentagon centre that sells chart albums at the same price you'd expect to get if you ordered from UK Internet suppliers
- Nowhere fucking sells Roy Vedas
