The Knowhere Guide

The Worst Things in Chatham, Kent*

The entirely missable and worth mentioning because of it

You can tell us more about Chatham.

The Worst Things
  • Maximus UNEmployment and UNTraining Agency
  • High Street - Castle Road - White Road Estate etc
  • That I am alive and in this place both at the same time.
  • BILLY CHILDISH.......Self important wanker!! No talent. Full of shit!!
  • The Chave Idiots
  • Billy Childish
  • Sean Delay after he was upducted by aliens. Poor guy has lost the plot. Needs help!
  • Sean Delay is about!
  • The chavscum label - so eightees/ninetees.. Chatham is moving in the right direction... take a look at the Chatham Maritime area to get a glimpse of the future.
  • CHAVS! FAR TO MANY CHAVS THAT CAN'T EVEN SPEAK PROPPER ENGLISH, AND SMASJH THINGS UP AND DRINK ON STREET CORNERS! KILL THEM... ALL OF THEM NOW!!!
  • Strood industrial estate, the smell near the train station, the amount of people who can't understand there's more than one place to go, the fact there's no city centre so it takes a long time to get between one good place and the next. The Stupidly expensive buses and all the hills which make it hard to walk anywhere. Lack of nice shops because of the lack of city centre, but with all the regeneration who knows. Far too many BNP members for my liking, at least there's enough people who care to protest against them marching through the streets.
  • the chaves in denial, i told one girl she could of been a chav (whilst she was dressed in a pink volour tracksuit and a pinaple, scarily like vicky pollard) she repliled, NO i anit!
  • Can't have a decent party without it being gatecrashed by chavs, or having the door fall of its hings after a battering from some drunken 40 yr old from the pub across the street. And the Council is cutting its youth funding, so no more Parklife!
  • The Chavs
  • The whole of Chatham its horrible.
  • The indigenous population.
  • The ever-increasing rat population, about which the Council seem to do nothing. They can be seen in broad daylight, gamboling wantonly among passers-by near the flyover or on the island gardens between the Pentagon and the Library (the rats, I mean, NOT Council workers!)
  • thick gold ear rings, pink pyjama track suits, the profusion of 16 year old mothers of 3 and the language ranging from "uckin innit great mate" to "bitch get off me ear rings they cost me a monkey"
  • GETTING STUCK IN CHATHAM
  • The immigrants
  • everything (chavs)
  • The chavs and underage mothers (we have the worst teenage pregnancy rate in Europe I believe - keep it up guys!)
  • Bill- he is a coloured dude wanders around chatham introducing himself to people (normally kids around 15-18) shaking your hand, asking for a pound and he kinda smells please avoid him... oh he sits around on the floor asking for money but he aint homeless :S
  • Chatham has some of the worst pubs and chip shops in the galaxy.
  • Chavs, pikeys and Garage music nights everywhere
  • chavvies
  • All the estates in the medway
  • The 'chatham girls' who look 4 a fight, and dont think talkin will help, u wont understand a word their sayin, and if u speak in any kind of english they wont understand u! I think there vocab is restricted to 3 words 'oi' is the only 1 suitable 4 typin
  • Gipsy wannabes
  • KOSOVANS , CHAVS , KOSOVANS AND CHAVS .THE KOSOVANS WHICH ARE ILLEGAL IMPREGNATE THE CHAVS THERE UGLY AND ANNOYING AND SHOLD ALL BE SHOT!!!!!!
  • The customary Chatham gal... hoop earings which use up the uk's supply of gold, hair on top of head, trainers, burberry-style trousers, bin-liner coat and gold glittery sleeveless top.
  • Full of Chavs looking for a fight
  • The bloody Bridgewood roundabout fiasco. Who else but a sodding supermarket chain, in this case Asda, could coerce a council to restructure a major traffic route. To what advantage it is impossible to see, it's not as if we even need another supermarket.
  • Pagitt Street. Londoners.
  • GOLD EARRINGS ! (oh yes, and the 'Chatham Pineapple' - once considered a revolutionary hairstyle for young ladies...)
  • Central Theatre - chuckle.
