Clothes Shops, Shoe Shops, Fashion and Bargains
  • Bay Trading
  • Bluorange, new designer clothes shop. Luke, Firetrap, Almost Famous, Fornarina, ...
  • newlook, h and m, miss selfridge, mk one, peacocks, design.
  • Danbury jumble sale, 2pm most saturday afternoons..... best place ever for 'retro' fashion. I'm talking 10p an item.
  • chelmsford is the kingdom of shoppin if your into high street shops and REAL FASHION (UNLIKE THOSE GRUNGERS).places like HM, topshop, river island, jane norman n oasis are your best bet on findin a nice outfit. although everyone seems to have the same tops and jeans from jane norman so if you want something a bit different and unique then i would look in HM - its cheap, stylish and has loads of wickid stuff if you go on a good day. Grungers just arent welcome in chelmsford - thats why we dont have any shops that facilitate their ''different'' sense of style(if you can call it that) Dont even slate chelmsford n its trendies coz thts xactly wat we are ''trend setters''.and that cant be bad if everyone is copying us. we dont wear all the same shit like u grungers makes out we do. we wear different styles and actual fashion. and its not as if were the ones that go around slittin our wrists all depressed all the time.no wonder your all so bloody depressed, you wear black like 24/7 and have tops with knives drippin with blood that say ''lets all die'' written on the back of them. chelmsford is a wickid place as long as you know the right people and dont go round sayin crap about stuff you know nothing about. your all just hung up on the fact that we look better than you.GET OVER IT!!! xx
  • bubba gs
  • there's a help the aged some where.............
  • If you have money, like I do, go to Zagger, it is fantastic, you have your Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Paul Smith and many more... And I go to school with the owners son!
  • Loadsa shops in town centre
  • Retrolux Vintage Clothing - at last a cool Vintage Clothing shop in Chelmsford, Retrolux can be found above Slipped Disc 2 in Baddow Road, the shop is so cool from the Original Mk1 Chopper to the Bright Orange Faux Fur wall not forgetting the Del Boy style mini bar in the corner and thats just the decor, the clothes are really cool the owners import most of the stock from America they've just had stuff in from New york you can get anything there from Vintage Levi's, American Workshirts, Original Baseball Jackets, to really cool 70's Cocktail/Party dresses if you are a cool alternative person in Chelmsford you must visit Retrolux!!!!
  • Bubba G's
  • Next
  • love the charity shops here, full of gems!
  • JAMS is brill got loadsa clubbin gear and dance wear and punky fish stuff. Great shop if your a dancer as they have jungles, UFO's and stuff like that
  • BLUE INC!!!!!
  • BUBBA G BEHIND SLIPPED DISCS BADDOW THE ONLY SKATE/GRUNGE SHOP IN CHELMSFORD!!!
  • NEW LOOK - TOP SHOP and Misselferidge
  • ur totally wrong bout the clothes shop coz they r gr8 so go and diss romford, chelmsford is gd, we dont want shit shops 4 u and ur mates 2 go and get ur syringes, we want shops for normal ppl. there is burton and river island, and the sports shops r cheap, so sayin chelmsford is a let down is total bullshit and i hav been offended by ur crappy typin and shit lookin website.
  • so many great clothes shops...as long as you aren't looking for anything that 300 people out of 301 will be wearing, for example theres jjb sports, new look, and other trendie shops, there are a few decent shops but as a general the shop scene is pretty naff
  • gotta be charity shops... r.s.p.c.a and farleigh hospice are goodens
  • Hoax......u tell me
  • dunno jd, jjb that kinda thing!
  • slipped disc or ne-where that sells kool massive clothes!
  • Zagger is the best place to go for designer stuff instead of going all the way over to bluewater or lakeside
  • There are plenty of high street chain stores. But for something different try Miss Boheme in Baddow Road, or for the lads Hoax just of the high street.
  • The best place for footwear is a shop called Samana,( near post office in High Chelmer shopping Center) none of your Ravel or Barrets crap here!!! Loads of designer footwear like Diesel, Miss sixty and D&G etc.. plus stuff Ive only seen down Bond Street, but a lot cheaper.
  • Jam, Slipped Disk 2, Bubba G, the back of Calli-Orphic's: for original and alternative clothes.
  • most of the shops in chelmsford u will find clothes in there is just too many shops that sell clothes to list them all.
  • slipped disc 2 or jam the best places to go to get clothes if ur a greebo or grunger
  • miss Boheme kinda exclusive slut shop!Loadsa cash
  • Dorethy Perks and the cool shop next to Key West (ya know the 1 i mean!?!?)
  • For those of you with alternative( or halfway decent) dress styles....Booyaka, v. expensive, quite trendy... Calli-Orphics is great for all the gothic-esque gear, and everything else that's interesting... Jam is a trendy shithole for wannabe's who like to lick david beckham's arse... H&M!!! WEEHOO!
  • topshop the new hm which is great and the spoets shops such as jjb and jd sports.
  • Ok, so most of da shops r trendies shite, but they hav just opened a shop nxt 2 keywest called Jam, it's wicked there. U can go 2 hoax, wham, or da back of slipped disks 2, it's called bubba g's, they hav gd makes like omen and hussy. If u r really despreate 4 a hoodies and /or skint, u can get a fake at da market. Plus if u squint really hard, u mite find summat in da trendie shops, but they try 2 hide it. all in all, ur best bet it bubba g's or jam. Hoax is quite expensive cuz it's all surf makes like quiksilver and billabong but at about twice the normal price. Or u can go 2 trendy shops if u like bein ripped off and looking like shit (i.e like most of Chelmsford) Xcept grungers!!!!!
  • Zagger, for comedy service
  • Zagger is probably the only really good clothes shop in Chelmsford
  • Booyaka at the back of Slipped Disc - great for 'greebed up' garments such as the hussy range. Also damned expensive so you can prob get the same thing in Camden 4 half the price, but have to fork out the train fare, not so good. Topshop sales also good, as they never sell their stock
  • chelmsford is poorly let down in this category! - fom my point of veiw, there is only one place i like to shop - booyaka, at the back of slipped discs 2 - everywhere else is def all trendy shops. - at the mo there is def a grunge style in fashion!....trendys!!! - stick to ur own pants style, dont wreck ours!
  • Oxfam Market Dustbin (round the market)
  • Booyaka, gotta be the best, that grebe shop in the market ,sells band hoodys etc. and the breath of Asia stool in High Chelmer kicks arse.
  • Boys Base JJB JB Sports River Island
  • NOT MANY- IF YOU WANT ANYTHING THAT NOT EVERYONE ELSE IS WEARING YOU HAVE TO GO TO LONDON UUNFORTUNATELY.
  • Cal-Orphic in Moulsham street is the best place in chelmsford for decent quality, non trendy cloths, e.g greebos, goths etc.
  • boyaka's the best in my opinion, especially in the sale.. always ask for 10% off!!!! you'll get it!!!!!
  • Boyaka-Inside the Record shop, Sliiped Disk, sells mostley skate wear....but cool girly -shirts too!!
  • the only place to buy clothes is the mighty island de river and why are mens clothes always up stais?????
  • loads of choice in chelmsford, the new warehouse in the meadows is good as is the new oasis and jane norman in debenhams! whather its topshop or bhs chelmsford has it
  • booyaka(near subway),sure thing(down moulsham street)and wham although it is terribly expensive!!
  • All of the charity shops. Apart from Marie Curie. all the other clothes shops (Base/Gap/JJb) are for typical slimey haired Essex rudies. Ooh, JJB have just opened a new store where C&A used to be. Joy! Chelmsford were crying out for that. For those of you who missed it. That was sarcasm. The only places to shop for clothes in Chelmsford are Topman (possibly) and the charity shops.
  • time - not really
  • not many good ones in chelmsford unless u r into the world of "OH MY FRIEND HAS IT SO I MUST GET IT" u r better off heading up to London where u have a wider choice
  • jacksons now also known as keywest
  • Loadsa Girly shops such as Topshop, Miss Selfridges, Time etc. Not so many blokes clothing shops but that doesnt stop all the fit blokes wondering round the town centre on a saturday.
  • There are the usual High Street shops, Topshop, River Island, Next, Gap etc., but for more 'alternative'(god I hate that word) attire there is Calliorphic and the army surplus store in Moulsham Street, Numerous 2nd hand clothes shops, and there used to be a 2nd hand day in the market on thursdays (don't know if this still happens).
  • Ha in Chemlsford better off going to london they got it all
  • HA HA HA were in C'ford most people that buy clothes here spend there therietime down dukes and shit
  • Buyrights supplies all the cheap, nasty tat you can shake a stick at!
  • We've now got a Gap which is pretty good going. There's your average high street shops and the like which have sprung up in the last 3 years or so. Two precincts to choose from the High Chelmer, and the Meadows. V.nice sometimes!
  • Youre better off wearing a bin bag than to buy clothes from one of the townie shops in chelmsford.
  • SURF SHOP AT THE END OF MOSHULM STREET IS PRETTY RULING AND MAKES A CHANGE FROM THE MAIN STREAM STUFF
  • The best clothes shops are: Mad House, Next, JD Sports, Zagger, Base, Savoy Taylors Guild and Debenhams. The rubbish clothes shops are: Marks and Spencer, Sport and Soccer JJB Sports and Oxfam
  • top shop a pretty cool trendie shop if i do say so my self
  • Chain stores, nothing but chain stores.
  • The surfing shop at the far end of Moulsham St is wicked!!
  • ZAGGER-WHERE ELSE
  • SHORE THING, ITS IN MOULSHAM STREET AND SELLS SURF & SKATE CLOTHES
  • Next, Time, Miss Selfridges, New Look, River Island, Bay Trading Co., Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins and countless other naff shops where teeny boppers with silver jackets shop till they drop. (We wish)
