- Event Sound & Light based near the town centre in a large, new warehouse on the Waterhouse Buisness Centre, off Waterhouse Lane are the place to go. They hire, sell, install and service sound, lighting, stageing and effects equipment.
They have a large hire stock and can supply anything from small items indivudual items such as microphones, DI boxes etc through to full scale concert systems. They also supply lighting equipment, stages, effects such as smoke, haze and snow machines and a full range of pryrotechnics.
The staff are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help.

They supply anything from a single mic through to a complete Band rig (including lights). They are based in one of the new Industrial Estates in the centre of Chelmsford and have a large warehouse full of equipment. They give a friendly and efficent service and are always willing to help and give advice when asked. - Amber sound and light is great
- Just outside of the town centre, (Past Tesco, but just before metal nettle) there is a rehearsal room called "Amber light and sound", and its great! they have 4 studios, soundproof, and each with its own full P.A system. They have drum kits in each room and u get the basic kit, and if you want anymore symbols, they cost £1 more (£1 is from memory, it may be different). its only £9 per hour for each studio, split between ur band is cheap like the budgie!
