• The shopping centre and the tower blocks, the only bit of culture, the library is very difficult to access for both pedestrians and cars. The swimming pool is not always entirely hygienic and if you like to swim, you may well find yourself at risk of injury from divebombing while the attendants look away ... the Woodies and surrounding area deserves better. There is no entertainment whatsoever for anyone, apart from the members of the Labour Club in Kingshurst nearby.
• The Worst thing about Chelmsley Wood is the Residents and People. Not all of them though, there are a handful of half decent residents but most of them are destructive and have nothing better to do with their spare time. Perhaps if Chelmsley Wood and surrounding Areas had something for the youth to do then perhaps there would not be a high rise in crime, i mean let's face it, the kids only do what they are doing because thay have nothing else to do. Where i live now, there is plenty for the youth to do and don't get me wrong there is still a few that like to cause trouble, however most of them are happy with what they have got. The council need to look at where they are spending there money and help out the young citizens who live upon Chelmsley Wood.

• I think the comment that all the kids are foul-mouthed little bastards is completely unreasonable and offensive to the decent youg people who live in the area and narrow minded people who say things like this should stop sterio-typing the youth of the area. We could say that all old people are moaning fogies who have nothing better to do than complain about young people but this would be unnacceptable!

• The massive heroin problem.
• errr....everything. from the mouthy foul mouth kids to the graffiti everywhere(all the kids who want to be hard go tagging to impress their mates) the deprivation, the amount of heroin addicts is unbelievable, there is nothing to do, it is in birmingham but 8 miles from the city centre so you are effictivly in the middle of nowhere, no jobs, people from nearby posh solihull looking down on you if you tell them you re from chelmsley, there is no community spirit. if you have to go through chelmsley, you are liable to get lost as every street and every house looks the same, the blocks of flats all look the same too! the nearest nightlife is in solihull, but the bouncers wont let you in if they think you are from chelmsley

• There is nothing but an over-priced priced sports centre to do. Most of the kids are foul-mouthed little bastards. There is graffitti everywhere
