- The chuckle brothers filmed an episode of Chucklevision here, A patient in the back of an ambulance rolled out and went through the town and crashed over the step that leads to the cemetary.
- Kirsty Hawkshaw (dance queen of the 90's). Tom Greenwood (Finlay Quay). Derek Hunt, founder of MFI. Richard Pettifer (actor and father of Alex Pettifer, star of Alex Rider film). More members of the philharmonic orchestra than anywhere else in the UK. The Mad Hatter of Chesham.

- I saw John Craven here about 10 years ago, trying his best not to get recognised. He was doing a very good job. He opened Brushwood Library 20 years ago! Ooo. What an lucrative engagement to have bagged. Nice one John!

- Dave James, author of West Australian historical book 'Climb When Ready', lived in Chesham Bois - although he's barely known by anybody in Western Australia, let alone remembered by anybody in Chesham!
- Nigel Winterburn, David Platt & Paul Merson all lived near or in Dear Park Walk. Stephen Fry lived on Stanley Avenue as a child. John Craven lived in Lee Gate. Nick Keynes was the bass player in boy band Ultra (they had a top 10 hit in 1998) he went to Thomas Harding & Chesham High Schools. James Hayden (British superbike racer) & Emma Linley (Actress - family affairs) also both went to Chesham High School.

- i once see John Craven in the car park behind macs. Also the fat bloke from londons burning who also writes for eastenders, al ashton or something, i saw him in macs. Also Leo Sayer at tesco in amersham (BIG HAIR)
- I`m sure some of an Inspector Morse episode was filmed in Chesham (must look a likely town for a murder) so I suppose some of them may have resided here for at least a day (maybe two!)
- Correction; Arthur Liberty was not a politician, only founder of Libertys, first in Chesham, then in London. The firm supplied fabrics for several of the original productions of Gilbert & Sullivan operas, notably "Patience" and "The Mikado".
