- Just a word of caution re: Pole Hill. It is actually a Site of Special Scientific Interest and shouldn't be dug up to make jumps or ramps. There has been a lot of damage done to it in recent motnhs. Anyone who does make jumps or ramps and is found doing so could be liable to a £2000 fine from English Nature. It is a good place to bike without digging!
- Pole hill is a good place for BMX dirt jumping.Go to station road, keep going to you get to the station and the mitshibishi garage after the garage take the first left then u will see a golf course follow the red path to the top of the hill and there are jumps and a few good downhill runs.
