- no matter how boring chorleywood is, its my home village, and i love the feeling of a close knit community, and how u recodnise praticlly every1 wen ur down in chorleywood. and i guess, wen im old and fragile, i would like to live here, but not wen ur a teenager!

- The best thing about Chorleywood is Chorleywood Bookshop at 4 Main Parade, right in the heart of the village.
The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the range of stock for a small bookshop is fantastic. You can
order virtually anything over their 24 hour Orderline so that if you see something advertised in the paper or on the train coming
home from town you can ask for it to be ordered without any delay. The service is really good. Telephone 01923 283566.
