You can tell us more about Chorleywood.
Cheap Food
- Peppermill is the best with kids.
- ** Oriental Chef is cheap and good service
** Wing Wah was the first Chinese take-away in the village
- Definitely Sathi's Indian - a bit expensive but awesome food and great service
- Chip Shop Chorleywood. Portion Control is amazing ! £4.50 for 5oz of fish ( including Batter ) and 17 chips, TRUE VALUE.........NOT . VOMITED 40 Minutes later, DIARRHOEA for 2 days...this is all related....Beleive ! Your choice, but don't say that I didn't warn you !!!!!!!!
- Sathi is one of the best Indian restaurants in Herts. It is friendly quaint and
cosy. The manager Zia is lovely !! He is always so welcomingg to his guests. A regular joint for me and the girls. The prices are fair/expensive.....Let's face it, we do all live in CHORLEYWOOD !! Best to book to avoid dissapointment as it always seems to be full. I am not keen on the one at the end of the high Street. The Sujoy I think.......The quality of food is not that high !!
- The Rose and Crown isn't cheap but does excellent food actually cooked rather than heated in a micro. Jeff and Rhonda are sterling people too.
- We had a delicious lunch at a little bakery in Lower Rd 1997 on a visit from New Zealand. I loved Chorleywood, don't know why everyone is full of complaints about it. A place is often what YOU make it so get cracking all you grizzlers and enjoy the beautiful village you have because many stuck in dirty cities would give their eye teeth for what you have!!
- I have to say that the Peppermill is the best restaurant this side of Watford. Phil and Cathy that own it are wonderful people. The food is superb, (although the chef is a little dodgy) and the prices seem too low for the high standard of food that you get. I recommend the Peppermill, to young, old, parents with kids and kids on their own (before 6.30), as it caters for all.
- Fish and Chip shop on New Parade, its really good.
- Crap indian restaurant, if you want a good indian restaurant check out the curry garden in rickmansworth
- the pepermill is an exellent restaurant, this is partly due to the beautiful waitress who works there everyother saturday night!the fact that this waitress is my girlfriend is completely unrelated to this comment... oh, and the food aint bad either!
- peppermill....take no notice of u unless u scream and shout
- New addition is The Peppermill for pizza & pasta.
- Two good Indian Restaurants: Sujoy Tandoori & Balti House and Sathi. Both good although quite pricey for Indian.
- There is a fish and chip shop, the Mermaid, and a Chinese take-away - the Wok Inn. The Peppermill (a veteran Chorleywood restaurant) has relaunched as a pizzeria.
