- Chorleywood bookshop has know changed hands. A new lady is in charge and has totally turned the place around. This bookshop won the most outstanding bookshop in 2003 and is a prime example of a friendly local shop. This shop should been listed as one of the greatest shops around.
- some lovely houses on the Shire Lane Hill, The Black Horse pub.
- has to be the sportsman pub, beffore it got closed down, it was magnificant, it used to tower over chorleywood, u could always see it wen coming down hubbards road, but now it just looks a mess, and its full of squaters, which r probably ruining it, i think we should start a pecition to open it up again! whose with me one that one?
