Pubs
- The New Inn, Fairmile. (just over the bridge up Bargates) Modest local pub, pool table, TV. Does a very reasonable Sunday lunch for £4.95
- The George on the mini roundabout town centre, is ok on a warm evening, to sit in the courtyard. The bar is very small & can get crowded.
- The New Lodge on the Somerford Rd Christchurch serves some tasty real ales and the beer garden is a good dumping place for the kids as they will love the climbing frame.
- A place called soho near the priory is quite a departure for this 'mature' area, rather modern. Thomas trip near the Post Office is the best, always busy, good beer, landlord, music etc.
