- flicks but its realli crap lol you are likely to step on chewing gum............or sit on it lol
- usually 6 of us spread out across huge auditorium, and echoey sound from empty hall.
- Flicks ids the local cinema and it is really worth missing might aswell get on train to colchester odean much nicer lil bit more expensive but much much better quality
- Flicks 1 & 2
flicks 1 - Big Screen loads of seats worth a trip
flicks 2 - tiny screen bout 30 seats (I've seen big TV's)
- Flicks isn't a bad cinema. It's a small cinema, but the screens and surround sound systems are excellent.
- Flicks is the only cinema here. It's alright if you don't want to travel miles.
- Who the hell said Flicks is crap? It has the best sound quality in essex! have you ever been there? ok Flicks 2 is crap.. but Flicks has a huge screen and great sound, bar the monday night childrens playgroup!
- Theres a shed in Clacton called "Flicks" which doubles as a Bingo Hall for the antique people living here,as well as a Cinema.
- Clacton's cinema must be the one of the worst i've been to. it only has 2 screens, it smelt, and i spent a good 30 minutes trying to get chewing gum off my bum!!
- There are several big and interesting looking Games Arcades
with the state of the art stuff in the town centre.
- mecca and the odeon before they turned it into argos
- As far as I know, the only cinema in Clacton is Flicks on Old Road. It's quite small, but it's good enough if you just want to watch a good film with your mates. The sound system is quite good, too.
- Flicks - hmmmmmmmmmm. Go to Colchester (again).
- "Ce's Pitt" is the newest Cinema in the area. It is run by fat man Fatty Mann. Fatty says "Well if you want to see a film, come here. If you want to see a fat man dance in a small rubber thong, come into my office sweetie pie"
- Flicks is crap. Poor films, poor facilities, poor sound quality, poor...poor... POOR.
- Flicks, ok but dont look at the decor!!
- The Aden theatre, built in 1963 in memory of all those who died to keep
the middle-east British, is a wonderful venue, with a seating capacity of just
over thirty means that it keeps a lovely intimate atmos. Recent films shown in
rep have been "Uncle Buck", "the Great Outdoors", "Home Alone 3" and
"Ferris Bueller's Day Off". John Hughes was unable to make it in time to give a
talk on his films, and so Freddie "Parrot-Face" Davies gave one, on what it was like
to direct so many big stars.
- Flicks, brilliant cinema; terrible name
