went for a weekend to clacton cycling and made the mistake of going to jaywick. What a dump!. We stopped off for a coffee along the front in a small shop / cafe. The place looked so dirty we made a hasty get away!, We cycled on past run down burnt out places with dirt tracks. There was a holiday camp there, what a shock any holiday makers must surely have ending up there !Very depressing run down... more >>

used to go to the lord nelson in the early 90's. it was a real dive, but we had some great nights out. it was a really good crowd (jim bidz and ruggy, etc) and there was a really cool scene there aswell (NL5, cottondrill) would love to hear from anyone that remembers it
